When I first received this bathroom scale I was honestly scared to even get on it , reason being is the top is made of tempered glass. After I got over my fear of it breaking I stepped on the scale and it read my weight almost immediately ( the glass didn't break :D ). The thing I like the most about this scale is that I don't have to calibrate it before every use, just step on it and that's it. The 4.3" LCD display is very nice and easy to read. This scale requires 4 AAA batteries and they are actually included. Also it can read weight in lbs and kg. This scale is actually stylish and wouldn't look bad in any bathroom. I highly recommend this scale.
